OVERVIEW

What is NAD+?
NAD+ (Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a B3 derivative. It occurs naturally in the body & is one of the most important cofactors for improving mitochondrial function. Mitochondria are present in nearly every human cell and are vital to survival. Their main function is to generate energy necessary to power our cells.

How does NAD+ work?
We like to refer to the process as “cellular fitness.” NAD+ stimulates mitochondrial fission which is where the cells in our body are “cleaned up.” After our cells are cleaned up, mitochondrial fusion occurs and our cells are put back together bigger and stronger.

What are the benefits of NAD+?
NAD+ can greatly help people with depression, anxiety, PTSD, TBIs, neurological diseases, executive functioning and those struggling with addiction.

How long does it take to administer?
Each NAD+ IV infusion can take up to 2 hours, however many complete their treatment within 60-90 minutes.

What is a “loading dose?”
We recommend completing a loading dose of 5 treatments within a 10-day period for maximum or long-term benefits. We do, however, offer a smaller dose option in injection form for those who want a pick-me-up in terms of energy and cognitive functioning.

After the loading dose, how often should I get a maintenance dose?
For the maintenance phase, most patients get an NAD+ treatment either once a week, once a month or once a quarter. Each patient is unique.
