Alpha Lipoic Acid

IV Infusion Treatment

Alpha Lipoic Acid

IV Nutrient Infusion Formula

OVERVIEW

ALA is used to restore liver health, treat diabetes-related neuropathy, regulate blood sugar, prevent diabetic retinopathy, provide protection against oxidative processes involved in degenerative diseases, help eliminate toxins, support energy production, provide adjunctive cancer care, speed up metabolism, and prevent cognitive decline.

Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) is a fatty acid that occurs naturally in the body. ALA is often referred to as the “universal antioxidant.” It supports vital functions at the cellular level, such as producing energy and protecting your cells from damage.

ALA is a vital part of the conversion of glucose to energy. Glucose requires insulin to get into cells. ALA mimics insulin, improving both glucose metabolism and insulin sensitivity. This simply means that more glucose is transported into the cells rather than being stored as fat. ALA also improves the conversion of carbohydrates to energy, which reduces the amounts available to be converted to fats.

Diabetic patients need to monitor their blood sugar while taking ALA as it can lower blood glucose levels.

In order to get the desired results, we recommend IM injections 3x/week or an IV infusion 1-2x/week for 3-5 weeks.
